The National Transport Commission is the regulatory body for passenger Transport, will entertain applications through online applications system from suitably qualified candidates for the following posts.

» External Candidates - Qualifications
- Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects in one sitting with credit passes for four subjects including.
- Sinhala /Tamil
- English language
- Mathematics
- Having passed three subjects (other than the General Paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination (New Syllabus)
- Passes in 03 subjects at the GCE (A/L) Examination - (Old Syllabus)
- Computer Literacy.
Salary Scale :
- MA-1.1 01/2025 – Rs.46,220 -10x540 -7x630 - 4x890 - 20x1,190 - 83,390 (Salary for Month of January 2026 is Rs.43,312 and cost of living Rs.17,800 will be paid)
Other Conditions of Service
- Applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post well and to serve in any parts of the Island and should be of excellent moral character.
- Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit
- will not apply to internal candidates.
- Commission will contribute 15% of the salary to the EPF (Employees Provident Fund), and
- employee should contribute 10% to the EPF and Commission will Contribute 3% to the ETF (Employees Trust Fund), of the Salary.
