» External Candidates
- Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six (06) subjects in one sitting with credit passes for four (04 )subjects including,
- Sinhala / Tamil
- English language
- Mathematics And
- Having passed 03 subjects (other than the General Paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination. And
- Certificate course in Computer not less than six months.
Salary Scale :
- MA 1-1 : Rs. [46,220 – 10 x 540 – 7x 630 – 4 x 890 -20 x 1,190 – 83,390] (According to schedule II of the MSD Circular No. 01/2025, Basic salary of Rs. 46,220/= will be paid from 01.01.2027 and the starting salary point is Rs. 40,403/= for the year 2025)
Age :
- Should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
- The upper age limit will not be applicable to internal applicants.

Salary Scale :
- PL-1 - Rs. 40,500/= – 10 x 450 - 10 x 490- 7x 540- 15 x 590– 62,530/=
- (According to schedule II of the MSD Circular No. 01/2025, Basic salary of Rs. 40,500/= will be paid from 01.01.2027 and the starting salary point is Rs. 36,475/= for the year 2025)
Age :
- Should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
Fringe Benefits :
- Attendance & performance incentive.
- Encashment of unutilized annual and sick leave.
- Provide Medical insurance scheme and Medical reimbursement scheme.
- The Corporation will contribute 15% of the salary towards the EPF whilst the employee will have to contribute 10%.
- The Corporation will also contribute 3% of the salary towards the ETF.
- Gratuity will be paid in accordance with the Gratuity Act No. 12 of 1983 and MSD circular.
