Security Assistant - BOC Bank Job Vacancies

🔎 We are looking for suitably qualified persons to fill the vacancy for the following position:

• Security Assistant (Male/Female) (Contract Basis)

Eligibility Criteria :

• Sri Lankan citizen

• Passed 5 subjects in one sitting at G.C.E. O/L

• Must be:

  • Lance Corporal (Army)

  • Able Seaman (Navy)

  • Leading Aircraftman (Air Force)

  • Constable (Police) or higher ranks with basic military training

• Minimum 5 years continuous service in Armed Forces/Police and formally resigned

• Preference to :

  • Those with 1+ year experience as a Security Assistant in a Commercial Bank

• Valid driving license for light vehicles and motorcycles.

• Height Requirements :

  • Males: 5 ft 4 in or more

  • Females: 5 ft 2 in or more

• Age below 35 years (as at closing date)

💪 Other Preferable Attributes :

• Firefighting, bomb disposal, self-defense, using security equipment.
• Sports/athletics involvement.
• Good English and interpersonal skills.

💼 Terms and Conditions :

• Contract period: 2 years

• After 2 years, eligible candidates may be considered for permanent employment

• Monthly Allowance:

  • 1st Year: Rs. 42,000

  • 2nd Year: Rs. 52,000

• Must be willing to work beyond normal hours, on weekends & holidays

• Must be willing to serve anywhere in the country
