The selected candidate will be primarily stationed at SriLankan Airlines’ in-house Medical Centre, providing comprehensive nursing care and attending to medical emergencies across SriLankan premises and at the airport on a 24/7 rotational basis.
Key responsibilities will include :
- Provide nursing care and first aid to employees at SriLankan premises.
- Monitor and refill first aid boxes, ensuring compliance with required standards.
- Coordinate with relevant departments on matters related to medical equipment, first aid kits, oxygen cylinders, and other medical supplies.
- Maintain accurate records and compile statistical reports on medical services provided.
- Support preventive health initiatives such as administering vaccinations, conducting water quality testing, and delivering health education.
- Conduct Breath Alcohol Tests and Psychoactive substance test and contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements :
- 6 passes at the G.C.E (OL) examination with 4 Credits in one sitting including a Credit for English.
And
- Possess a Government School of Nursing Certificate with 3 years general nursing experience in Government Hospitals, preferably in Accident & Emergency, Public Health, Occupational Health and be a registered Nurse with the Sri Lanka Medical Council or Sri Lanka Nursing Council.
- Age to be not more than 48 years as at 04th May 2025 which is the closing date.
- Be a SriLankan Citizen.
