- Data Centre Associates - IT
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform day end operations with regard to different systems.
- Backup and restore operations and maintaining backups.
- Monitor ATMs and communication lines and take actions to rectify failures.
- Monitor data replication from AS/400 production machine to DR machine.
- Perform test EODs and attend to error corrections in Test and Development machines.
- Maintain logs regarding various hardware and software errors and actions taken.
- Coordinate with other technical staff and vendors for error rectification.
The Person :
- Diploma in IT from a recognized institution. Initial exposure in IT will be an added advantage.
✥ The upkeep and assistance of data center infrastructure falls within the purview of data center associates. They are responsible for keeping an eye on system performance, managing backups, guaranteeing data security, and debugging hardware and software problems. They work together with IT departments to maintain peak data center performance and deploy new technologies. For this position, you must have strong technical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
