Job description

Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka for the following posts in the project on contract basis. The applicants should possess the following qualification and experience given under each category.

1. Management Assistant – 2 Positions at Project Management Unit and Southern Province

Qualification :

• Having passed all subjects in G.C.E. (A/L) Examination at one sitting (expect the general paper) And
• Having passed G.C.E (O/L) examination in six (6) subjects with four (4) credit passes
• including English and Sinhala/ Tamil Language and Mathematics. With
• At least 3 years of work experience in English speaking and multicultural working
• environment, computer literacy (MS package: Work, Excel, Power Point) handling
• Internet, E-mail, Communication, Documentary evidence is required to prove the
• competency of computer literacy & report writing skill in English medium.

2. Office Assistant – 1 Position at Project Management Unit

Qualification :

• Having passed the G.C.E (O/L) examination in six (6) subjects with credit passes for at
• least two subjects including Sinhala/Tamil at not more than two sittings.
• Experience as an Office Assistant is an added qualification.

General Conditions :

• Age Limit – Below Sixty-four (64) years on the closing date of application
• All appointments will be initially for a period of one year and extension of services will be based on successful performance.
• Employees are required to travel to project sites depending on the need.
• Working experience in the foreign funded projects in Sri Lanka is preferable
• Proficiency in English, Computer Literacy and familiarity with government rules and regulations.
• Salary for each position will be based on the Management Services Circular No. 01/2019 dated 05th March 2019.
