* Technical Assistant (Air conditioning)
To assist Facilities Engineer (Mechanical) to provide in-house skilled maintenance to maintain Air Conditioning Systems in proper working order, and to ensure established service standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities will include :
- Fault detection and repair of central air condition systems, and split air condition units to ensure proper functionality to the satisfaction of the users, and servicing of same.
- Replacing compressors in plants, to ensure proper functionality of the air condition system.
- Fault detection and repair of control circuits of air-cooled and water-cooled package plants.
- Fault detection, repair and service of refrigerators, water coolers & dehumidifiers.
- Rectify defects as identified under the routine maintenance program to provide an acceptable working environment.
- Maintaining log reports to rectify defects on time to bring the system back into proper working order.
The applicants should possess the following minimum requirements :
- 6 Passes at GCE (O/L) with 3 credits in one siting including a simple pass for English and Maths and Technical course in relevant field (NVQ Level 3).
- The upper age limit should be 29 years as at the Closing date 26th January 2023
- Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.
