Currently a vacancy has emerged in our Information Communication & Technology Department for the post of IT Helpdesk and System Operator.

The Job :

  • Provide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software and network issues.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to higher-level support as needed eded.
  • Assist users with software installations, configurations and updates. Document support activities, resolutions and updates in the helpdesk system Perform the daily EOD operations in the main system.
  • Monitor and maintain IT system, including servers, networks and applications.
  • Preform routine system checks and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure system backups are performed and verified regularly.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills :

  • Passed GCE O/L examination with C passes in Maths and English.
  • Passed GCE(A/L) Examination in one sitting.
  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum one year experience in a IT related field.
