» Applications are invited from eligible Sri Lankan citizens for the following vacancies in Walpita, Mihilak vegetable and fruit value added products, fish and shrimp value added product factories under the Western Province Industrial Development Authority.
1. Qualifications and Experience (Accountant)
- Have obtained a degree in accounting, finance, financial management, business management, commerce from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission or have obtained a degree related to travel and have gained experience as an accountant for not less than 01 years after graduation. Ability to work in English is a special qualification.

- Having passed the inter-central examination of a professional institution in a suitable field related to nature and having at least one (01) year of experience in the field related to nature after qualifying. Ability to work in English is a special qualification.
2. Qualifications and Experience (Accounts Clerk)
- Six subjects at the same time with award passes in at least three subjects (excluding General Common Test) in General Certificate of Studies (Higher Level) examination and four (04) subjects including Sinhala/Tamil and Mathematics in General Certificate of Studies (General Level) examination Being equal to (06). Not less than 01 years of experience in the field of accounting. Ability to work in English is a special qualification.

- Completion of not less than 06 months associate paper course in Accountancy from a recognized chartered professional institute or equivalent qualification. Experience in the field of accounting for not less than 01 years. Ability to work in English is a special qualification.
✨Age : Should not be less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.

Terms of Service :
- These posts are on assignment basis and with contribution from Employees' Provident Fund and Employers' Trust Fund.
- Those recruited for these vacancies should be ready to work from the Industrial Development Authority of the Western Province (IDA) head office or factories located in Gampaha District, Divulapitiya Divisional Secretariat Division, Walpita Grama Seva Domain and travel expenses or accommodation facilities Not provided.
