Responsibilities :

  • Checking the accuracy of physical refund payment vouchers and forward for the payments.
  • Check whether the general payment request is authorized according to the delegation of Financial Authority.
  • Check the expenses with the approved budget.
  • Preparing general payment vouchers and forward for authorization.
  • Preparing the reconciliation for accounts payable, advance payments etc.
  • Check the premium outstanding of claim payment vouchers prior to generate claim cheques. Monitor branch cash/ cheque collection and reconcile with system balance/ depositing slips,
  • Preparing Journal voucher to accurate general expenses.
  • Generate receipt analysis report for main collection account and check with the deposit slips. Preparing bank reconciliation statements.
  • Handle / attend special assignments/projects assigned by the management / supervisors as per timely requirements of the organization.
  • Any other specific duties and responsibilities entrusted by the Management/Superiors.

Applicants should possess the following :

  1. G.C.E(O/L) with English & Mathematics; G.C.E (A/L)
  2. One year prior work experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
  3. Strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills matched with teamwork skills.
