UNIVERSITY OF COLOMB0 VACANCY 

Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates for the Post of Accounts Assistant to assist the financial management of the research grants, development funds, and postgraduate courses of the University of Colombo. 

• Accounts Assistant (Contract Basis) 

Qualifications: 

Degree in Finance/Accountancy/ Business Management or equivalent qualification. 

Preference will be given to those who have following qualifications in addition to the Degree 

(i) Foundation level (CAB 1) in Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CASL) or equivalent qualification. 

(ii) Member in Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (MAAT) 

Experience: 

Two years' minimum experience in the field of Accounting or Auditing from a reputed government or private organization. 

1. Age : Should be not more than 35 years. 
2. Salary: Rs. 50,000/- + Cost of Living (COL) + EPF + ETF per month
3. Period: One year on Contract (Renewable depending on the performance and the need of the University)
