Job Description

The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS), the educational arm of the S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (BNMF), is a research and education - based institution focused on International Relations and its sub-disciplines. BCIS invites applications for the post of Receptionist.

Job Responsibilities :

• Handle the front office by directing visitors, students, and other customers appropriately.
• Screen incoming calls, manage emails and inquiries, and direct them to appropriate divisions.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
• Perform clerical receptionist duties such as photocopying, filing, etc.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Senior Management of the BCIS.
• Maintain a good reception area.
• Maintain logs and databases of visitor records.
• Assist with various administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate and enthusiastic team player.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Customer service attitude.
