Basic qualifications required :

Age should be between 18 - 30 years.
Should have Passed N4 from Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT or NAT) or should have higher qualification than that.
should not have Tattoos on the body.
Should have faced the G.C.E (A/L) examination. (should have completed 13 years of education
from a Government School)
Height should be 150cm or more.
Weight should be 40Kg or more.
Must not have any visual impairment (Japan visual value should be more than 0.7 and Sri Lanka
visual value more than 6/9).

Required documents. (Scanned copies) :

Completed application form (The application published in the SLBFE website www.slbfe.lk)
JLPT / NAT Certificate.
School Leaving Certificate.
G.C.E(A/L) results sheet.
National ID card.
