The Job Scope :

Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to: 

• Examining insurance proposals with competitive quotations.
• Collecting information and negotiating terms with clients.
• Deciding terms and conditions of the insurance policy in consultation with the management and preparing Insurance policies.
• Liaising with the sales team and providing an excellent service to the customer.
• Entering data to the system and maintaining records.

Candidate Profile :

The ideal candidate should possess; 

• G.C.E. A/L pass with 3 subjects.
• Good knowledge in Motor/Non-motor Insurance. 
• Part professional qualification in Insurance from a recognized insurance body (an added advantage) 
• Minimum of 2 years experience in underwriting Motor Insurance policies in a reputed Insurance company. 
• Good communication skills including good command of English & Tamil Language. (Knowledge in Sinhala language will be an added advantage.) 
• Fluency with numeric and ability to work with Microsoft Excel and other related computer systems/applications.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with strict dead lines.
• Ability to work in a highly demanding working environment.
• Skills of being a good team player and the ability to work independently as part of a team. 
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
