Trainee Staff Assistant - BOC Bank Job Vacancies

✅ Eligibility Criteria :

• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka

• Educational Qualifications :

  • Passed GCE O/L in 6 subjects (excluding optional subjects) in one sitting with at least 5 credit passes, including Mother Language, Mathematics, and English Language

  • Passed GCE A/L in 3 subjects (excluding General English, General Knowledge, and General IT) in one sitting

• Other Attributes :

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Perseverance and strong commitment

  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines

• Age: Must be 24 years or below as of the closing date

Terms and Conditions :

• Training Period: Two years

  • Year 1: Rs. 55,000/month

  • Year 2: Rs. 70,000/month

• Subject to the Bank's General Terms and Conditions for Open Service Banking Stream.

• Upon successful training, will be confirmed as Staff Assistant – I in the permanent cadre.

• Must be prepared to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Five-year mandatory service period, including the training period, in the assigned province (unless otherwise decided by management)

📝 Selection Procedure :

• Based on a competitive exam and interviews.

• Exam will include :

  1. Paper I: General Knowledge, IQ, and IT

  2. Paper II: English Language

• Shortlisting based on exam scores; final selection based on interview performance.
